Abramelin
Also called Oil of Abramelin, this is a traditional ceremonial magic oil blended from the essential oils of prescribed plants. The formula was described in a medieval grimoire called The Book of Abramelin, written by a German of Jewish descent called “Abraham of Worms,” and is alleged to have been adapted from the anointing oil described in the Book of Exodus.
We offer the traditional formula, which contains essential oil of cinnamon, and a milder version, made with cassia essential oil. If you plan to use Abramelin on skin, please consider the Cassia Variant - the scent is the same, but cassia is considerably less caustic than cinnamon.
